What we collect
Nothing. Recipe Basket has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It sends no data to us or to any third-party server.
Recipes and iCloud
Recipes are stored on the iPhone and synced through the iCloud account signed in on it, using Apple's CloudKit private database. We can't see them.
Importing recipes
When a link is imported, the iPhone downloads the page directly from the website. Recipe text and screenshots are read by Apple Intelligence on the iPhone, or on Apple Private Cloud Compute for long or difficult recipes. Private Cloud Compute processes the request and keeps nothing. We never receive the recipe, the page or the screenshots.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple. The app asks the App Store whether Lifetime was bought. The number of free imports used this month is stored in iCloud key-value storage and in the device Keychain.
